Randall's Online Listening Quizzes

One of the best, most organized websites to find a surplus of listening quizzes is Randall's ESL Cyber Lab.
Randall's site is well-organized, user-friendly, and applicable for every level. In addition each listening quiz is put together with pre and post listening exercises, vocabulary activities including idiomatic speech, a quiz script, and conversation.

VOSCREEN

Thanks to Larry Ferlazzo's blog I came across a site called Voscreen. After signing-up and choosing your native language from a list of nine, you’re shown a series of very short video TV/movie video clips where a phrase is said. Then, you have a choice of either clicking “I understand” or “Show Me The Script.” If you clip “Show Me The Script,” you’re shown two versions in your native language, and you have to choose which one is correct. Click on one and it shows if it’s the right one or not and then you can move to the next clip. If you clip "I understand", you're shown two versions in your native language, and you have to choose which one is correct, too. It is shown with green colour. 

This site Voscreen is free, you can sign up, access through your Facebook account or start as a guest.

Mosaic

What's the Mosaic project?

The Mosaic project is a compilation of interactive activities (listening, reading, use of English and speaking) designed for the EOI second level students (A2 or Pre-Intermediate) to practice, expand and consolidate the contents seen in the classroom. With the new curriculum for EOIs sometimes there is no time to do in class all the listening, speaking and reading activities we would like to since they can be too time-consuming but essential to the student. Therefore the aim of this project is to fill this gap.

Story time for me

This is a site where you can listen and reading stories. These stories are aimed to children, however I think they are very useful for all learners who study English because you can learn lots of vocabulary and pronounciation. Enjoy them!

7 Billion, National Geographic Magazine

In My that's English blog I have found this video about the problems of overpopulation on earth,published by National Geographic. Go over the video and think about the real problem on it.
Remember that 1 billion in American English = 1000 million in British English.

A fantastic site to improve your listening

Surfing the net I have come across this fantastic site where you can practice your listening. You only have to choose the language English and the level A1 (básico 1), A2 (básico 2),B1 (intermedio), B2 (avanzado) in the right side bar.
